Session Title: From Agentic AI to Sovereign Capability

Session Description: The race for AI advantage is no longer just a race for better models. It is a race to build the economies, infrastructure, capital and trust required to deploy safe intelligence at scale.
 

This invite-only Think Tank examines four critical questions: where agentic AI will create the biggest productivity gains and what governments and industries need to do to adopt it; how agentic AI can make smart cities and critical infrastructure safer and more secure while managing the risks of autonomous action; what makes a country or economic zone attractive enough for capital to actually invest once infrastructure requirements are clear; and how to make the system secure, safe, resilient, and accountable as AI agents gain increasing autonomy.

Output: With consent of the speakers feeds into SUMMIT 333 annual White Paper.

The Think Tank session is integrated into the AIM Congress to advance AI safety and strategy in alignment with the UAE's knowledge-driven economy. 

The session is designed as a working meeting to produce a white paper that will circulate through global summits in Riyadh, Abu Dhabi, Davos, and Sweden.

Fireside Chat: AI GOVERNANCE DAY DIALOGUE 

Two years after the Council of Europe opened for signature the first international legally binding treaty on AI, the global AI governance conversation is shifting from principles to implementation.

This fireside chat will examine what has been achieved, where the major governance gaps remain, and whether existing frameworks can keep pace with increasingly autonomous and agentic AI. The discussion will explore accountability, human oversight, transparency, risk, remedies, democracy and the rule of law—while asking how international governance can remain effective as AI becomes increasingly embedded in economies, institutions and critical infrastructure.

The conversation will ultimately look forward: What must governments, industry and society do now to ensure that AI governance is not only principled, but enforceable, adaptive and fit for the AI systems of tomorrow?
